Yes, the site does
seem to be down. I'm thankful I downloaded the PDF versions locally
now!
That's good
to know; I assumed \transposition affected all output.
So I entered the music
as it appeared, pre-transposed, in the original score. This is why the
manual let me to believe \transposition was the way to go (as well as
Frescobaldi setting it up that way).
Using
\transpose bes c' { ... Music ... }
will make the key
signature appear correctly, but also transpose the notes, which is already done,
so they are now in the wrong key.
Although I typed them
in at the instruments' pitches, should I be transposing all the notes to concert
pitch with Frescobaldi and then use the
\transpose bes c' { ... Music ... } construction on top of that??
Transposing always
confuses me so.
