Ties for notes between the bottom two staff lines (e.g. treble F4, bass
A2, alto G3) and between the top two staff lines (e.g. treble E5, bass
G3, alto F4) appear to be positioned incorrectly by default. They begin
and end between the notes instead of slightly above or below them, and
they touch the staff lines. Sorry if I didn't explain this properly, but
this has slightly bugged me ever since I first started using LilyPond in
2014 (though only now did it occur to me to talk about it here).
I am able to use the tie-configuration command of TieColumn to position
them the way I think they ought to be positioned, but of course doing
this for every one of them in a score is time-consuming. There is also a
