Try   \set Score.proportionalNotationDuration = #(ly:make-moment 1/4)   Don’t you also want     \override Score.SpacingSpanner.strict-note-spacing = ##t ?   And possibly   `  \remove "Separating_line_group_engraver"`     HTH,   Carl
