Hi Kieren,

This should be very well doable with an engraver, similar to the engraver for 
group delimiters. Optimally this should integrate with the Instrument name 
engraver, so that the instrument name can behave differently depending on 
whether the group name is present (e.g. a group KLARINETTEN with names I in Es, 
II in B, III in B, BC in B. But when only one staff is present we do not get a 
group name, but the instrument name could become Klarinette I in B).
