Current articulate.ly says in code comments that it uses half the main
note's time for an undotted main note, and one third (not two thirds) of
the main note's time for a main note with one dot. There is also a code
comment saying "From Iain Nicol: appoggiatura timings were out," so it's
possible that it has been changed since you first implemented it. In any
case, it seems clear the codes is *not* intended to use 9/40 of the
notated duration, which is what happens after the commit I highlighted.
