[Linphone-developers] problem installing FFMPEG/libavcode.pc

Hi,

 

I've downloaded Linphone 1.5.x/ from below mentioned link:-

http://download.savannah.nongnu.org/releases/linphone/

 

i've already installed speex-1.1.12 and libosip2-2.2.2.

now when i try running ./configure from linphone-1.5.0 directory then it

throws following error:-

 

 

" checking for FFMPEG... Package libavcodec was not found in the pkg-config search path.

Perhaps you should add the directory containing 'libavcodec.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable.

No package libavcodec found

no

configure :error : Could not find ffmpeg headers and library. This is mandatory for video support.

configure :error : ./configure failed for mediastreamer2 "

 

 

I've downloaded 3-4 FFMPEG packages from different urls.. but even after installation of FFMPEG no libavcodec.pc file is getting generated.
