You should say "MSVC compiler doesn't like ffmpeg".
The real problem is that the MSVC compiler is not compliant to ISO C99, while 
ffmpeg source code uses ISO C99 features.

I think that since you compiled everything below with MSVC you should also 
compile the wxwidget interface with MSVC too.

I don't think you choosed the easy way. Actually I can help you for compiling 
with wxDev-C++, but mixed wxDev-C++ and MSVC is more difficult...
