Weird stuff, I have run it on a galaxy official 2.2 and on a galaxy with cyanogen mod 7, which is android 2.3.3.
If you like I can send you my 2.3 apk later today to try it on your phone.
BTW, Does your build run on the android emulator?
Send from a phone powered by free software.
