I've seen multiple users report this also. Many SIP devices have a setting to stop these calls e.g disable internet calling. The device then only accepts calls from the configured proxy.

This would be a nice setting to have and would stop these Ghost calls caused by port scanners etc.

Also why does it accept these calls when the INVITE sent is not actually directed at the configured user/phone number?

I have linphone Android and Linphone iPhone on my WiFi network. Only the Android gets ghost calls such as address@hidden The random port are checked on both devices. Why is Linphone Android the only one receiving ghost calls? Many a day.

Will appreciate some help.
