H265 is supported only on mobiles thanks to hardware encoders.
Linphone-desktop doesn't support H265, and doesn't integrate x265.
We think about how we could support H265 in our desktop version, but as of now there is no timeline, and the decision to support it hasn't been made yet.
Due to a tight schedule, we are not likely to start development
on this before at least next year.

I build the Linphone Desktop Windows 10 with I use the git command in Linphone site
cmake .. -DCMAKE_BUILD_PARALLEL_LEVEL=10 -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo -DENABLE_GPL_THIRD_PARTIES=YES -DENABLE_RELATIVE_PREFIX=YES -DENABLE_NON_FREE_CODECS=YES -DENABLE_X265=YES -DENABLE_X264=YES -A Win32
cmake --build . --target install
Can anyone tell me why? h265 does not appear and cmake parameter to build h.265
