Dear Linphone Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently developing a project using the Linphone SDK for Android, and I have a PBX SBC that requires a WebSocket (WS) connection to make SIP calls. Despite my efforts, I have encountered difficulties and have not found sufficient information in the available documentation regarding the support for WebSocket transport in the version of the SDK I am using.

Could you kindly provide clarification on the following points:
1. Does the Linphone Java SDK support WebSocket (WS) or Secure WebSocket (WSS) transport for SIP signaling?
2. If supported, could you provide guidance or examples on how to configure WebSocket transport in the Java code?
3. Are there any specific versions of the SDK that include enhanced support for WebSocket, and if so, which version would you recommend upgrading to?

Your assistance would be highly appreciated as it will greatly aid in the progress of my project. Thank you in advance for your support and for providing such a comprehensive and versatile SDK.

Best regards,

Abdelrahman Bayoumi
