Okay, thanks. Once you say it works in HEAD, I'll grab HEAD
and get rid of my local 2.6.2 . Actually, I'll probably wait
until the next following update of
  http://biolpc22.york.ac.uk/pub/CVS_HEAD/wx-cvs-All.tar.bz2
because IIRC that takes about 80% less bandwidth than 'cvs co'.
