I forget the details but I remember getting caught on this myself
once. The solution I used was to enclose the Diag points in
double quotes:
"address@hidden"
rather than
address@hidden
This works because Lout treats these as strings not symbols anyway.
They are symbols to PostScript, but strings to Lout.
