This has been something we wanted to do here too, but I haven't gotten a
nice clean sequence to build the chain using the existing chain yet.

I wanted to use a newer compilier because I see gcc failuers intermittently
with the 3.4.0 chain, I had been hoping that a newer chain would solve some
of those problems, but of course it may not be any better.

So I've been trying to build the 4.1.1 gcc. I'm trying to take advantage of
the existing cross toolchain, and use that as the sysroot, includes, crt
lib's. But starting with building gcc by "PATH=$LTIB_TOOLS/bin:$PATH
configure"'ing, I still need to hack in some includes and libraries to get
it to build fully, and it fails with the libstdc++.

That's with the 4.1.1 chain. I'd be very interested to know how it goes if
you get a nice script for a coldfire chain that works well.

toolchain v0.28?

Hello all,

I am currently using the OpenEmbedded(.org) build system for several targets
and I would like to bring Coldfire support in.

To start with I would like to build the current toolchain from scratch
mtwk-lnx-cfv4e-gcc-3.4.0-glibc-2.3.2-v4e-0.28

Is there an existing build script available someone?

Regards,
