i just noticed that someone here packaged json-c-0.7 for ltib:
http://oss.metaparadigm.com/json-c/
there is a spec file, as well as a couple patches that go with it. if
anyone else wants this packaging and the patches, i can make them
available. i'm also going to take a quick look at upgrading to
version 0.8.
