Kevin,

I have discovered in testing that disconnecting the Ethernet for some period of time ~30 secs and reconnecting the cable will result in a never re-link scenario.  I have tried several switches and the one I have problems with is the LinkSys & Cisco SR224 v2.  If you disconnect and then re-connect, it will re-link.  The problem seems to be time constrained as to when it won’t recover.  Any ideas?  SMSC.C has not changed for quite some time.  That leaves lpc_eth.c/.h.  We are using the LAN8700 PHY w/ LPC3250.  The same thing happens with the PHYTEC reference design.
