Follow-up Comment #9, task #6861 (project lwip):

Do you mean use a single PBUF_RAM as a static buffer for the whole
reassembled packet?  I thought that this patch was trying to move away from a
single static buffer.  

Out of interest, has anything been done with this option to prevent the
reassembly code consuming all the pbufs, so stopping the rest of the stack?
