I see in the archives from December that some work was done towards
making lwip work with a 16-bit DSP. Was that successful?
I'm thinking of using lwip with Analog Devices' 32-bit SHARC, which is
not byte-addressable. char's are 32 bits, and each address refers to a
32-bit quantity. I'd guess that a MAC would drop packets as 8-bit bytes
into each 32-bit word. (I haven't shopped for a MAC yet.)
