Hello all,

When the alignment problem is solved, we can get rid of all thoose ugly PACK_STRUCT makros, because they are only needed for unaligned structs.

Is this true for all cases?

I am not familiar with the most restrictive compiler alignment rules, but I remember there being a discussion on the lists earlier on why these PACKs had to be there for one or another.

Maybe it was a bad way to fix stuff; if we fix it up neatly we need to
make sure we have cornered all cases.

Leon.
