Unfortunately, I do not know of Savannah making (regular) snaphots.
(anyone?)
CVS checkouts-only are not hard; what's your platform?
UNIX:
export CVS_RSH="ssh"
cvs -d:ext:address@hidden:/cvsroot/lwip co lwip
Windows:
Install client from TortoiseCVS.org, use the info above. Do checkout.
