Using the 9117 without a problem. 

But my portable pc when using wireshark gives me CHECKSUM_ERRORS,
whereas my tower does not!!! so I think your seeing a wireshark/pc
problem.

We have a web server,ftp, udp etc and all these work even when wireshark
says the checksum is wrong.

I still cannot get the UDP receieve/send working, i get the data but
when i do lwip_write( socket, "Hello", 5); i see nothing at the remote
terminal? anybody got a small piece of code so i can see what is
happening.
