I'd suggest making a Wireshark recording and send that as well. Need to see 
what happens on the wire, objectively... :-)

I am working on a dhcp client.
I am hacking through your code in which i have to find a way to request a 
specific ip from the dhcp server.
I have interred that we can send a request with the DHCP_OPTION_REQUESTED_IP 
option.
I have made my changes on line numbers 1068 and 69.
I am sending the requests but on debugging i am not getting the requested ip 
address.
I have attached my dhcp.c for your reference.
I have also attached my log for your reference.
