It is ironic that your question about Lynx on DOS came to me
under the Subject: line of Re: http://lynx.browser.org/
because if you go there you will find a link to better information
than I can tell you.  Maybe the name DJGPP doesn't say DOS to
you.  But follow that link.

That version is not fully functional.  It doesn't do ftp yet, as
I understand.  It is a bit of an adventure to get all the support
under it and get it working.  But if you want to stick with DOS
and use the Web it is something you should try.
