I take it the CVS repository idea won't be used?  Someone mentioned
the FreeBSD example, and I know it works well for the Apache
developers.  A group I'm part of, iComm (www.icomm.ca), can donate
disk space and things for this, assuming not too much space is
needed.  However, I have no idea what's involved in getting it
working.  From what I've seen, though, it looks like it offers a good
way for multiple developers to work on the same thing at the same
time.  People could download snapshots of the source tree from time to
time and see what breaks.  

I'm not a C programmer, but I know it must have been hard to keep up
with Fote's changes.  A centralized code base could help out; if the
core developers like the idea, I'm willing to try to get it going.
