LYNX-DEV HTTP HEAD: text/html;charset= without space

Some WWW sites generate string text/html;charset=koi8-r
that confuse Lynx (2.6) and Lynx ask to download the page or cancel.
My sysadmin said this is because no space after ";" delimiter
and should be corrected at remote side.

Is it (1) wrong syntax on remote server, (2) Lynx accepts it now, after 2.6,
or maybe (3) strange proxy between?
