Re: LYNX-DEV 2-8 help: Help!

i've been trying everything, so far without success.

what seems to be happening is that Lynx 2-8 isn't finding  lynx.cfg :
i use  ~/lynx28/lynx2-8/lynx.cfg  &  ~/lynx28/lynx2-8/lynx_help/foo
& it's getting the out-of-date help files from somewhere else up there,
where the sysadmin has his out-of-date version stored (presumably 2-7):
when i enter  lynx lynx_help_main.html  (in the correct subdirectory),
i find the proper 2-8 help files.

so how exactly do i tell Lynx to find  lynx.cfg  where i've put it (above)?
