Lynx users who want to view graphics but are limited to
text-only terminals should check out aview [1], a really cool ASCII-art
image viewer. It works with Lynx and allows viewing GIFs, JPEGs, etc. It
is built on AA-Lib [2]. Both are distributed under the GNU General Public
License. Congratulations to Mr. Hubicka for an excellent library!
Perhaps a pointer to this software from the Lynx web page would be
appropriate, as the two packages complement eachother nicely.

P.S. I had some initial difficulties with aalib and aview on a linux
machine, but they were overcome by telling aalib to use ncurses instead of
the X11 display driver.
