OTTAWA - A private consortium is asking the Feds, Ontario & Quebec
to invest CAD 7,5 G in an CAD 11 G project to bring high-speed trains

at 320 Km/h by 2008.
The consortium consists of SNC-Lavalin, Bombardier & AXOR (Montreal),
AGRA Monenco (Oakville), GEC Alsthom Canada & Ellis-Don (London, Ont).
They've named the project `Lynx', after the speedy wildcat.
