Well, it seems like adequate justification for the requested change in
undefined behavior.

Now all it will take is someone interested and knowledgable enough to
make the change.

Since there is no formal lynx development team who have assignments as
such other than the coordinator of patch submissions (who also does the
significant portion of other patches, to be fair), then I guess if
Tom agrees and gets around to it, the requested change in behavior
for incomplete domain paths may eventually appear.
