2-7-1 is long out-of-date & Lynx volunteer supporters generally have time
only for helping with the latest version,
which contains many improvements & omits nothing useful.
so goto  www.slcc.edu/lynx/release/  for the latest 2-8
& ask again here if you have any problems with it.
of course, if you meant 2-8-1dev.20 -- the latest test version -- ,
someone else may well offer some advice;
if you want to try that anyway, goto  sol.slcc.edu/lynx/current/ .
