I think the reason you don't get replies is that no-one has such a system,
and failure of return/enter is a very unlikely symptom; one would expect
nearly every full screen program to fail as well. You are going to have
to do some research into what is special about terminal handling and
curses/ncurses on SGI machines.
Could you possibly confirm that this is a general failure, because it is
just possible that you are expecting a behaviour exhibited by particular
GUI browsers which isn't duplicated by Lynx.
