Warning: my memory is terrible.

I seem to remember seeing Lynx in the pub/Linux directory months/years
ago buried somewhere.

Lynx also occasionally shows up on www.freshmeat.net, announcements of 
every few dev versions.

ftp.gnu.org was working for me ~20min ago.
