I have code that does that, together with various other line editor
changes (including YA line-editing style called "Bash-like bindings"
for experimentation). I just have to clean it up and separate it from
other changes...
That won't impose ^E^E as the new key (sequence), but make it possible to
use it, as well as other bindings.
