Just in case you're forgotten what one looks like <g>,
here's my current =-page:

(I got here by long trail from REALLY NEAT site of netscape,
its "open directory")

<LI><a href="http://www.dmoz.org/about.html";>About the Open Directory Project
(netscape: provides data to google, etc)</a>
<

Anyway, in that bottom part on the page, about the LINK that my cursor
is currently at -- sure would be nice if it showed the link-NUMBER
(given, of course, that that option is turned on).

Whole lot easier to find that on the screen (after backing
up 20 or 30 sites, and forgotten everything!) than trying
to search for he "title" part of it.

(No, for some long-term reason, I never have managed to get color
to work on shell-acct, or lynx, so cursor isn't so easy to see.)

(plus, for a blind user of lynx, that number, spoken out or something,
should be a help. ... idea: especially if the RANGE of numbers
in the doc was also printed, ie num of links. Like:

   current link is http://blah
link number is 59 (of a total of 863 on doc).
)
