That sounds familiar - but checking your original report, I see you are
running ncurses 5.4 (5.5 is the current release).  So I might have fixed
this particular problem after 5.4.

With 5.5, it is not segfaulting.

thanks. It's not a lynx bug (and given where it was failing, there is not much I could change in lynx to avoid the problem).
