Hello Stephan,
Stephan Busch wrote:
there seems to be a 7-Zip version with support for your LZIP.
Do you mean the file 7z1604-lzip.tar.gz at
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/7zip/ ?
In the GUI, LZIP cannot be selected in the drop-down list of Compression
Dialog.
This version of 7-Zip only has extract support for lzip, not compression
support.
I would also like to suggest creating a separate plugin dll instead of
melting your codec in 7z.dll.
I'm afraid I don't know how to do that. The patch in the directory above
is about the best I can do in these circumstances. A friend (who had
never compiled a program and had to install Visual Studio 2015 just to
compile this) compiled it for me. I do not have access to a windows
machine with a compiler. This is why I asked help[1] to compile the
above patch.
I hope Igor Pavlov decides to add lzip support to 7-Zip[2] so that I can
forget about Windows GUI support.

Is there also a x64 variant available?
No.
