Whatever _you_ prefer.  I'm fine with surfing all the bleeding edges
you want me to.

Honestly, I don't want to fix this sprintf issue since it is code
meant to be thrown away, so unless we move now to snprintfv, we will
just release an M4 which we know how to segv.
