This kind of communication is not welcome on this list.

We're a free software project that tries to work with and be friendly to
allied free software projects, especially those in the domain if network
freedom.  The XMPP people are not lazy people; I know many of them and
respect them greatly.

These are hard problem domains.  It's easy to do "armchair punditry"
pointing out why everyone has problems with all the solutions they're
trying, it's very hard to actually build those solutions.  Let's be
respectful to our allies who are trying to do so.
