Okay, so I'll announce the testing phase.

No, that would be the wrong way. The purpose of "IGNORE" is to mark
a package's current release as "bad", such that "make update" will
inform us only when the next release of that package arrives.

In this case, however, we still want to be kept informed about the
2.2.7b release - we're just to early.

Great, they once again changed their tag naming scheme. :-(
I adjusted our update script:
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/mingw-cross-env/rev/f431dc1795b3

However, I doubt that glib-2.25.7 will work under Win32,
because they currently don't care much about Win32 support
in their development releases:
