Now is avaible ocaml binding for dbus and with dbus it can be connected to
avahi:
tab.snarc.org/projects/ocaml_dbus/
Included in fedora:
cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewvc/rpms/ocaml-dbus/
ubuntu:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ocaml-dbus
Will be inclued in Debian:
