Hi,
I have a little suggestion about the bandwith use of Mldonkey:
There should be a way to tell MLdonkey, how much your max line speed is (up and
down). This could be done per max_hard_download_rate and max_hard_upload_rate.
As soon as the whole download rate is near that max_download rate, Mldonkey
should slow down connecting to new sources and making new server requests,
because it isn't now possible to download any faster and aggressively
increasing download rate even slows down the download rates because of the
connections' overhead. This would also relieve the Upload rate, because there
are fewer requests to send. As soon as the download rates are decreasing,
Mldonkey begins sending more file requests again.
Is this already managed like this or is max_hard_download rate just a hard
limit and every packet coming faster is dropped?
