[Mldonkey-users] HELP: Strange failure

mldonkey 2.5.30.15 quits at a friends computer (debian woody, static compiled 
sources) after searching via "s things_i_want_to_find" and displaying the 
results via "vr" with the message:

mlnet: gconv.c:58: __gconv: Assertion `outbuf != ((void *)0) && *outbuf != 
((void *)0)' failed.

my mldonkey (running on debian sarge) is working fine. any ideas on that?
