Issue resolved. The problem was accessing monit using monit.php - Will need to troubleshoot that but accessing monit directly works just fine.  Thanks!

This should work and the problem is most likely client-specific, i.e. your browser. Try to empty your browser's cache, history etc and reload the page and make sure you do not use a proxy in your browser. Also, it looks like you have bound monit http to port 80 from the url's you submitted. Try to set another port-number, that is, in your .monitrc file use e.g. 'set httpd port 2812' and use this url: http://localhost:2812/.

If you need to access monit on port 80, because of firewalls it is recommended that you use apache on port 80 and a wrapper script that act as a proxy to the monit server. See for example http://www.tildeslash.com/monit/dist/contrib/monit.php.txt

Hello,

I've installed monit 4.6 on FC4 and I got monitors working in no time. This is exactly what i've been looking for, awesome!

The issue that I'm having is on the Service Manager page. All the URLs  link to nothing, for example, under "Process" i have "httpd" which references http://ip_of_server/httpd, and on the top of the page, "Monit is running on .." points to http://ip_of_server/_runtime is also non-existent.

I searched the FAQ and archive but have found nothing. What did i miss in the setup?

Thx,
John.
