localhost auth bypass

Is it possible to bypass a http authentication for localhost and keep http
settings (ssl, md5 passwords) for other hosts?
For example:
set httpd port 3333
         allow localhost
         ssl enable
         pemfile /etc/ssl/certs/monit.pem
         allow md5 /etc/monit/monit.pass monitadmin

In that case "monit summary" command requests http authentication via ssl,
even from CLI on localhost.
