Thank you Noel – that seems to be a step in the right direction. I’ve come up with a config. Syntax using that:


if failed host server.fqdn port 3306 type TCP protocol MYSQL then restart


Can anyone verify if this is the correct syntax?

Have you looked at the send/expect features of connection testing?
