I just ran across an interesting phaenomenon: "push" doesn't
do anything unless the branch contains more than one commit!
It's quite simple to test:
mkdir test && cd test
echo bla >foo
echo bla >bar
monotone add *
monotone commit 'initial version'
monotone push ...
Now pull the branch into another database and try to check
the branch out: It won't contain anything!
Now go back to the "test" directory and do:
echo claus >blabla
monotone add blabla
monotone commit 'now it works'
And try again; now push works.
