Well, umm, that's unfortunate. I don't have OSX available for testing,
so I can't figure out how to fix this myself... and with 0.17 right
around the corner, unless someone who _does_ have access to OSX
figures out some sort of fix or workaround pretty soon, we might not
be able to support OSX in 0.17.  Can anyone help here?

(Perhaps just using a non-Apple GCC would work, of course...)
