IHMO this is not a solution either, because then all error strings come
out in English, while some of them might be better understandable for
the user in the language he set in his environment.

And moreover, I'm not (yet) willing to parse _any_ natural language
string which comes from mtn, I rather hack around this and avoid that I
have to cope with them at all ;)
