[Myexperiment-discuss] myExperiment announcement: Statistics changes

We've made some changes to the statistics that myExperiment captures
about your content:

- View and download statistics are now split into those made directly
  from myExperiment website and those made externally. For myExperiment
  accesses we also give an indication whether the access was from a member
  (ie someone logged in) or annoymous. These details are available on the
  'see breakdown' link in the statistics sidebar.

- We do not count viewings or downloads of your own items (based on whether
  you are logged into the site or not)

- We do not count accesses made by search engine crawlers.

We've gone through our log files and where possible adjusted existing
statistics to reflect the above changes. As a result, you'll likely see
a drop in the counts for your content.
