For something more complex, try:

"This string contains two \"quote characters\" in it" not this "but this"

With quote36b.patch the entire line highlights here, but 'not this'
probably shouldn't be highlighted.

The regex just posted "\"\(\\.\|[^\\"]\)*\"" was the one I was trying to
construct, but it doesn't work with quote36b.
